Dr. Jianwei Ren

Senior Researcher

Jianwei holds a D.Eng in chemical engineering from the South China University of Technology, China. He joined the CSIR and was established as senior researcher within the CSIR energy materials – HySA Infrastructure in the field of hydrogen storage options, refuelling stations, system integration and technical demonstrations in 2012. He is currently leading a post-graduate research group and devoting himself to the South African science society.  Jianwei has authored/co-authored numerous research papers, and has been successfully granted funding for a number of research proposals.
