Dr Marina du Toit
Maria was born in Krugersdorp and matriculated in 2006 from the High School Riebeeckrand in Randfontein. She then enrolled at the Potchefstroom Campus of the NWU, where she successfully obtained the degrees in Chemical Engineering, a Master’s in Nuclear Engineering (cum laude) and the PhD in Nuclear Engineering. Her work experience has been varied, including stints at the Nuclear Analysis group in Megawatt Park and the Koeberg Nuclear Power Station in Cape Town. She currently lectures at the NWU Potchefstroom Campus, along with post-graduate supervision and examining.
