Evaluation of an advanced fixed bed reactor model for sulphur trioxide conversion to sulphur dioxide using supported platinum catalysts
Supervisor
The Hybrid Sulphur cycle has been identified as a potential process to produce clean hydrogen. This study will investigate the SO3 decomposition reactor which is the most important unit in the process. The more SO2 present in the electrolyser the more H2 can be produced. A reactor model will be suggested to accurately design such a reactor for future work.
