Leandri Vermaak (GRADUATED)

Master in Engineering

Leandri completed her B.Eng in Chemical Engineering in 2016, working on a project for NECSA involving the optimisation of a Waste-to-Energy gasification system. She joined HySA Infrastructure in 2017 as a student, and is currently in the process of completing her M.Eng in Chemical Engineering at the North-West University.

Project

Electrochemical hydrogen membrane separation using a PGM-based catalyst

This project is based on electrochemical hydrogen separation from various gas mixtures–specifically various concentrations of H2/CH4, H2/NH3, H2/CO2 and H2/CO.
