EXCHANGE STUDENT DETAILS

Tristan Van Kaam

International Exchange Student

Tristan van Kaam obtained his Bachelor degree in Materials science, from The Norwegian Institute of Science and Technology (NTNU) in 2020. He focused on how the hydrogen reduction of ilmenite was affected by the presence of water vapour. He continued his studies within the same field and has done part time work for the Institute of Material Science (IMA) regarding the wetting capabilities of ilmenite on different substrates. Furthermore, he was awarded an internship at the Eramet Titanium & Iron plant in Tyssedal, Norway. Where I worked as a process operator in the iron processing department.  He is currently finishing of his studies at HySA as a research exchange student.
