Rudaviro Garidzirai
Ms Rudaviro Garidzirai obtained a National Diploma in Chemical Engineering in 2016 at the Vaal University of Technology (VUT). She worked at MINTEK as an in-service trainee in the Mineral Processing Division where she focused on Platinum Group Metals beneficiation. In 2017 she obtained a B. Tech degree in Chemical Engineering and joined the Department of Science and Innovation (DSI) as an intern in the Hydrogen and Energy Chief Directorate. At DSI she was responsible for managing the Hydrogen South Africa (HySA) National Flagship and the Energy Storage Research Development and Innovation Programs. Currently, she is pursuing a Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering at the North-West University in Potchefstroom. She joined HySA Infrastructure as a research technician where she is involved in hydrogen storage projects such as the LOHC technology.
